Water Treatment in Jupiter

Jupiter presents a unique water treatment challenge: the town itself runs on municipal city water, but the large Jupiter Farms community to the west is entirely on private wells. This means we install different systems depending on which side of Indiantown Road you're on.

Jupiter city water comes from the Loxahatchee River District, drawing from the Surficial Aquifer. It's treated with chloramines and delivered at 150-200 ppm hardness. Typical complaints from Jupiter homeowners on city water: scale buildup on premium coastal fixtures, chemical taste in drinking water, and dry skin after showering. The salt air from the coast compounds the issue — minerals in the water react with salt air to create stubborn residue on glass and chrome.

Jupiter Farms is a different story entirely. This rural, no-HOA community relies on private wells tapping the same aquifer as The Acreage and Loxahatchee — meaning iron, sulfur, hardness, and bacteria concerns are common. Jupiter Farms wells tend to have moderate iron (1-3 ppm) and hardness (250+ ppm), requiring our AirGuard + softener multi-stage approach.
